She has trained over 1,000 yoga teachers, school teachers and those who work with children throughout the world how to teach yoga in a way that is meaningful, impactful and fun.
Loraine is an active advocate of the benefits yoga for children & teens. She was featured in the documentary Yoga For Change and serves on the National Committee of the International Yoga Teachers Association, the National Committee of Australasian Association of Yoga Therapists and the Yoga In Schools Sub-Committee for Yoga Australia.
The Zenergy Teacher Training Courses were the first courses to allow yoga teachers to be recognized as accredited Children’s Yoga Teachers in Australia. The courses are registered with YA, endorsed by IYTA and accredited with Fitness Australia. Loraine was the first ever accredited children’s yoga teacher with Yoga Australia.
She is a highly sought-after speaker and trainer. Loraine has delivered professional development days for Teacher Training Australia & Pearson. She has also been a featured speaker for ACHPER, Australia’s Yoga Therapy Conference and Yoga Australia’s national conference.
Loraine was instrumental in bringing Yoga programs into the Australian school system. Over the last 20 years, the Zenergy for Schools Program has been taught in Early Childhood, primary, secondary, private, religious, selective and special needs schools throughout Australia such as Stella Maris, Queenwood, Manly Selective, St. Leo’s, Mackellar, St. Paul’s, Balgowlah Boys, Manly West, Mona Vale Public, Fisher Road, Loreto, St Luke’s, etc.
Loraine’s specialty is developing programs that develop the “whole child” and help them develop physically, mentally, and emotionally.
As a leading Yoga instructor for children in Australia, ABC television selected Loraine to be the featured instructor on their “Yoga For Kids” DVD and CD.
Loraine is a regular contributor for Australia Yoga Life Magazine having written numerous articles on the benefits of yoga for children and yoga in schools. She also writes a monthly column for Australian Yoga Journal.
